HELLO and thanks for stopping by. I'm Danielle, although most people call me "DC". I'm an aspiring children's author. I write about quirky characters, unbelievable situations, and general funny stuff. Well, I think my stuff is funny... If it's not, then I'm in a bit of a pickle!
There’s something magical, fun, and heart-warming about kid’s stories. Growing up as an only child, books filled all my quiet moments (and there were many of those) with imaginative places and fantastical protagonists. I was fortunate enough to have a room with floor to ceiling bookshelves that I filled to the brim with Richard Scarry, Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl, Paul Jennings, R.L. Stine, and pretty much anything I could get my hands on.

At an early age I decided I wanted to be an author and now I am determined to fulfil that childhood dream. It would be a wonderful honour if my books inspire those same feelings of exhilaration and joy to young readers that I experienced in my own childhood. As I have just started my writing journey, please check back frequently to see what books and short stories I've had published.
I live in north-west Sydney on 2.5 acres of bushland with my husband, two crazy fur kids, and a stack of Aussie wildlife. I am a Girl Guides unit coordinator/helper even though I lack most of the critical skills to be a proper Girl Guide – the clever girls in my unit put me to shame. My favourite things are books, dogs, drinking cups of tea, and eating cake.
